5 things I wish I knew in my 20s.

If you are in your 20s then this blog is dedicated to you.

I’ve been meeting some young people lately and it has reminded me of my mindset back then. People always gave me the “aww you’re so young” look.

I was wondering what this look meant cause I considered myself independent and grown up. Now I notice myself giving younger people the same look cause I understand whatś behind it. I started thinking about all the things I did’t know when I was younger and decided to put together a list of thing’s I wish I would have understood back then.

  1. What you sow is what you reap

I’m sure everyone has heard that one but to understand it in depth is something completely different and to understand that it applies to EVERYTHING! The quality of your life, your career, your health, your relationships, everything. You can’t except to give 50% and get 100% back. That’s not how life works and also sometimes you can give 100% and that doesn’t mean you gonna reap. Life is funny like that. One thing I know for sure is that if you keep pushing forward and giving your all then eventually something good will come back.

  1. Life will knock you down

Thereś no way you can go though life without getting hurt. Itś impossible. One point in your life something or someone is gonna disappoint you. Everyone is gonna experiences pain in their life the question is how you deal with it and what you learn from it? Itś important to not get stuck in a negative mindset and start feeling sorry for yourself. Gratitude is the way to live! When you have your health, food on the table, roof over your head you have plenty to be grateful for. Always try to focus on the positive!

  1. Your inner voice is usually right

I experienced that many times in my 20s. I didn’t listen to my inner voice and ended up having regrets later. Specially it applies to people! Your first instinct is usually right. When you feel something is wrong it most likely is.

  1. You have to be in control over your life

Thatś the only way you can create a life where you feel happy and fulfilled. For women itś very easy to end up in a relationship where someone else is making decisions for you. It works out for a while but not for long term. I feel as a human being you should be independent. Do it for the sake of your own soul so you could experience life to the fullest.

  1. Karma

I have always believed in karma and the longer I live the more I see how it works. I think if people would understand that one simple law the whole planet would be a better place.  Life doesn’t just happen to you. Youŕ thoughts, your actions everything is karma. When you wish and do good for others it will all come back to you. 🙂
